We Offer

 

  • A challenging role in analyzing upcoming Swiss and international regulatory and legislative initiatives (e.g. FIDLEG/FINIG and EU legislation in the area of banking and financial services ) and determining their impact on the bank’s International Wealth Management and Swiss Universal Bank divisions 

  • You will have the opportunity to analyze, prepare and participate in, consultations by industry associations or lawmaking bodies regarding proposed laws and regulations

  • Active participation in projects to implement regulatory change within the bank

  • You will be responsible for analyzing legal requirements, providing mentorship regarding upcoming laws and regulations, reviewing and building solutions for the bank, providing trainings to all impacted departments, and drafting implementation documentation, including templates and client communication

  • Through collaboration with all areas of the bank across divisions in an international environment you have the opportunity establish a strong and balanced network


You Offer

 

  • A degree in law, qualification as attorney and exposure to the European legal system are assets

  • You have strong academic credentials and minimum five years professional experience in legal and/or regulatory matters as in-house counsel in the financial services industry or in private practice

  • You show a broad interest in financial markets and market infrastructures, strong analytical, conceptual and drafting abilities and the ability to work efficiently and independently 

  • Very good verbal and written communication. You are an extraordinary teammate with excellent interpersonal skills

  • You combine strong interpersonal and communication skills with being ambitious, flexible, organized and detailed

  • Fluency in German and English complete your profile
