| Project Manager- Energy Picarro is looking for an experienced project manager top join the European Energy Team. This position requires creative and highly motivated individuals with the skills to succeed in a fast-pace technology environment with changing priorities and challenges. This individual will have a hands-on approach, a very organized way of working, an attention to the details and a willingness to drive customer satisfaction. This person will play a key role in managing service projects and Surveyor system implementations with key customers within EMEA. S/he will help to organize and plan the dispatching of resources, the analysis and quality control of each step the project, the timely delivery of reports and will be the point of contact for the different stakeholders for each project. S/he will survey timelines to meet the goals of a project while respecting deadlines. S/he will also interface with new customers to organize demonstrations and field trials using Picarro’s Surveyor. Position reports to Managing Director of EMEA and is located in Switzerland. Key Responsibilities • Manage service projects or system implementations in Picarro’s energy vertical and be responsible for the timely supply of deliverables • Prioritize key objectives of each project according to customers key requirements • Define time and resource requirements for a project, and coordinate with the involved stakeholders • Present the timelines and resource requirements to customers and Picarro management • Coordinate the required human resources in collaboration with external service providers • Manage the dispatching of human resources (drivers, investigators, etc.) in collaboration with external service providers • Assess the progress and productivity of ongoing service projects • Define process and flow charts for a (service) project and define the deliverables • Implement/develop the necessary software and tools for a process or project • Define the required software tools and coordinate with external software providers Desired Skills and Experience This project manager role requires a wide range of skills and a basic technical understanding. It requires to manage the steps and processes which are required to successfully perform a service project or field trial for a gas utility customer. It requires a very organized mind and the ability to manage a complex project through all its stages, i.e. resource planning, coordination with stakeholders, project follow up and quality/efficiency assessment. • Strong organizational skills, timely delivery and Self-driven/entrepreneurial mindset is a MUST • Project management skills with attention to the details • Ability to constantly acquire new know-how and search for creative solutions • Self-starter that can work independently, make necessary decisions and follow through with action plans • Experience with programming, big data crunching or software design/development are an advantage • Ability to be a good listener, understanding customer questions and assist them in answering these items successfully. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Results-oriented team player with a “make it happen” attitude and drive for success in a fast-paced environment. Ability and affinity to respond quickly. • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines • Demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy Language Skills • English: full proficiency (oral and written) - Required • French and German: good level (written and oral) – An advantage • Italian : good level (written and oral) – An advantage Qualifications • Graduate / Post-Graduate in project management with affinity to technology.
