Flight Operations Engineer

Established in 1969 ZIMEX AVIATION LTD. has continuously delivered specialized remote field operations in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Based in Switzerland, the company holds a Swiss Air Operator Certificate, owns its Maintenance Repair Facility and an Aviation Training Organization. We operate and maintain our fleet of over 20 turboprop aircraft under European EASA Aviation Standards. For our headquarter in Glattbrugg we are looking for a

Flight Operations Engineer 80-100% (m/f)

Your main tasks:

• Supporting the Flight Operations department on daily routine tasks


• Maintaining the Operation Manuals (OM) and documentation in an up-to-date condition and supporting the Flight Operations department in their development


• Supporting the Flight Operations department in Safety and Compliance assurance within the department itself and for subcontracted services in accordance with the Company Safety Management System


• Supporting the Training department in the development of e-learning courses related to flight operations


• Liaising with the Technical Pilot (TP) and Operations Control Center concerning fleet routes, airfield performance data, suitability of airfields for fleet operations, fleet data and aerodrome operating minima


• Providing administrative support for projects within the Flight Operations department

Your qualifications:

• Experienced licensed pilot, licensed dispatcher or equivalent


• Good knowledge of the company operations manuals, processes, procedures and EASA regulations


• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills - able to communicate in a clear, straight-forward and transparent way


• Excellent standard of English language


• Ability to work in a multi-cultural team of pilots


• Must be able to cope with confidential and delicate flight safety issues


• Strong organizational skills


• Computer literacy including but not limited to MS Office, data analysis and operations management systems
