Starting date: upon agreement.The chair is affiliated with the Institute of Economics (www.fgn.unisg.ch). The focus of our research is on microeconomics, in particular industrial organization, game theory, antitrust law and economics, regulation, and public policy. We offer a stimulating research environment, exchange with young and international faculty, modern infrastructure, and a friendly atmosphere. The successful candidate has acquired (or is about to complete) a Master's degree in Economics or a related field with excellent grades. A demonstrated interest in at least one of our main fields of research is required. Fluency in English is essential, and a good command of German is desirable.The successful candidate is expected to enroll in the PhD Program in Economics and Finance (www.pef.unisg.ch) at the University of St. Gallen and may participate in the Swiss Program for Beginning Doctoral Students at the Study Center Gerzensee (www.szgerzensee.ch/courses/doctoral/swiss-program). He/she may contribute to the chair's research project "Pricing in a Digital World" funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).
