Context
Since 2013, MSF has been providing GIS services for their own operations and gradually for the whole Movement.
To build on these successes, to accomplish the full potential of a GIS enabled environment and in order to increase the benefits of GIS for operations, existing services need to scale up. This requires a dedicated project – the GEOMSF project, which aims to leverage crosscutting geographic information to help operations and sectors gain an understanding of a situation and its spatial context.
Responsibility and tasks
As Business Analyst for the GeoMSF Program you will be in charge of all the project steps from capturing the demand of the lines of business to proposing and delivering fit-to purpose business solutions from business and GIS architecture point of view. At this stage of the Program, which is the Implementation phase, the focus will be on user testing and feedback prioritization, and functionality validation.
Main tasks
Ensure user experience design, quality assurance and testing of functionality developed by technical team is of the highest standards
Document all the process for testing implementation and following with end-users
Collaborate and coordinate with GeoMSF technical team to structure requirements and end-users feedback after test cycles as needed by the GeoMSF project
Provide end-user functional support during implementation phase
Liaise with IT Project Manager – GeoMSF project and commission solutions
Your Profile
Education
University degree in Business Management, Geography, International Relations or equivalent
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in similar functions
Experience in testing is a must
Experience in GIS
Humanitarian experience at MSF is a plus

Proven testing skills
Proven GIS skills
Excellent knowledge of the Windows environment (Word, Excel, Power Point)
