SERVICE DESIGN LEAD
 
 Here at Fjord Zürich, design leadership drives creativity and innovation at all levels. Our design leadership invests itself in strengthening the relationships between our teams, our clients, our work, and the people who use our products and services every day. As a Service Design Lead, you’ll own the service design practice and delivery on a project level. You’ll be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams to produce quality design work for our clients. You’ll also manage senior-level designers, establish processes, estimate level of effort, and liaise with other Design Leads to facilitate knowledge sharing within our studio, and also across Europe and beyond. This is your opportunity to evolve integrated design as both a discipline and a practice on a global scale.

Basisqualifikationen


WHAT YOU BRING AS A SERVICE DESIGNERWe’re looking for candidates that have a background in Service Design, and a proven track record as a Design Leader. You will have had experience leading teams and delivered design solutions for a variety of clients – our expectation is that you’ll have experience in service design (design research, business design, storytelling) and have a portfolio that demonstrates your great work, and your ability to communicate a story. We would love to learn more about your:

  • Relevant industry experience (we work in a commercial, fast-paced environment – perfect for some, and challenging for others)

  • Excellent storytelling skills

  • Creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with and inspire others

  • Expert knowledge of service design methods, including design research and business design; expertise in stakeholder management and engagement

  • An ability to design and facilitate design workshops

  • Public speaking and presentation skills

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years relevant experience, including experience in a leadership role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Service Design Leadership.

  • High proficiency in English and German

   German speaking and writing skills are a must. Please note that you need to hold a valid work permit that allows you to work in Switzerland.
