Global Product and Sales Trainer



































Part of our business strategy and a key priority for Franke Kitchen Systems is the training of our employees and business partners to maintain a high level of knowledge on our products, their benefits and features.

As Global Product and Sales Trainer you will play a key role in strengthening our market leader position and help driving growth. You will design and conduct sales and product trainings globally as well as skill-development programs to improve individual and organizational performance.

This role gives you the opportunity to develop a convincing training strategy on how we sell our products and systems focusing on consumer benefits instead of technical features, and implement a wide variety of training material to support our retail partners and train our employees. You'll provide our partners and employees with the knowledge they need to be successful.

This position can be filled in Aarburg, Switzerland or in Peschiera del Garda, Italy.
Your responsibility


  • Determine training requirements and roadmap in conjunction with launch management and based on new product launch schedule and maintain a comprehensive training plan

  • Collaborate with the Central Marketing team (Launch Management team and Category and Product Management team) when it comes to content creation and preparing USP communication

  • Create, maintain and structure product and sales training contents 

  • Make support (physically and digitally) and documents centrally available, develop and implement a digital learning plan to effectively deliver and manage the various (e-)learning tools that are available

  • Ensure content and delivery options remain relevant to effectively meet learning objectives and address different learning styles

  • Responsible to setup and maintain tracking and measurement of trainings, including quality assurance, training effectiveness and training related performance evaluation

  • Identify learning gaps via needs analyses and implement effective training solutions to align with business needs

  • Design and promote use of various training solutions and instructional techniques or formats to present information such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, lectures, webinars, virtual classroom, mobile learning, and self-paced learning methods

  • Remain current on training methodologies, learning tools, and practices 

  • Modify existing training solutions to close learning gaps and reflect best practices

  • Design and offer specific training programs to help employees maintain or improve skills (constant learning / refreshing)

  • Lead the Train the Trainer Community, organize several Train the Trainer Events yearly and ensure constant exchange with the Community

  • Attend local training events and support local trainers in preparing and conducting the trainings with internal employees (sales force, product managers, etc.) and external business partners (kitchen specialists, etc.)

  • Implement mandatory knowledge test for sales people based on developed & available training materials and conducted physical or web-based trainings

  • Update job knowledge by reading professional publications, conducting benchmarking analyses and maintaining personal networks

Your Profile


  • 8 years of experience in delivering and developing training and training programs 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Psychology, Education or a related field 

  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English plus 2 other languages (e.g. German, Italian, French, Spanish or Chinese)

  • Great presentation skills and power of persuasion

  • Driven to provide quality-learning experiences that motivate

  • Interest in kitchen related products and affinity for technological features and details, while being able to translate them into consumer benefits

  • A resourceful, proactive, assertive, energetic and motivating personality with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, structurally-developing, ever-changing environment

  • Ability to manage training initiatives across multiple functional areas and locations and ability to adopt training approach to different audiences with different level of knowledge

  • Must be able and willing to travel worldwide (approx. 40%)
