Change Manager, Strategy implementation project

About the team you are joining


The strategy implementation team is a wide cross-functional group of more than 70 people embedded in the business areas. The strategy core team will comprise the Director with 4 managers in the areas of Communication, Training and enterprise PMO. 


Reporting to the Director, Corporate strategy, the change manager will play a key role in ensuring change initiatives related to strategy implementation project meet the change management objectives by growing employee adoption of the new ways of working in IATA towards a cultural change. 


What your day would be like


This person will focus on the people side of change including changes to culture, business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that improve employee adoption of the new ways of working and to minimize resistance. 


 - Apply a structured change management methodology and lead change management activities;
 - Conduct impact analyses, identify process simplification opportunities, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders;
 - Develop and implement change management plan;
 - Integrate change management activities into project plan;
 - Support communication efforts including development and delivery of communications;
 - Support training efforts including providing requirements, design support and delivery;
 - Support and engage senior leaders;
 - Consult and coach project teams;
 - Coach managers and supervisors;
 - Track and report issues;
 - Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress;


We would love to hear from you if


You have master’s degree in related business field;
10-year experience in leading large-scale organizational change efforts;
5-year Consulting experience in advising corporate on change management projects;
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences and at all levels of IATA;
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and active listening skills;
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal;
Resilient and tenacious with high level of perseverance;
Must be a great teammate and able to work collaboratively with others.
