With selected healthcare products, Medinova AG has competences in various therapeutic fields, mainly focusing on women’s healthcare and therapeutic skin care. The product portfolio includes a range of prescription drugs (RX), such as Gynoflor and Fluomizin, and over-the-counter (OTC) products, such as Hirudoid and Benocten. Integrated into the network of our parent company DKSH, the leading Market Expansion Services provider with a focus on Asia, Medinova is marketing and distributing products locally and abroad. The regional focus lies on Europe, Asia and selected countries in the Americas as well as Africa, bringing our products via DKSH and further qualified partners to more than 60 countries today.
For our offices in Zurich Oerlikon we are currently looking for a new colleague to join our team as per immediate effect or upon agreement.
Job responsibilities
Area Management
Lead pro-actively and contribute to the Sales and Marketing development of Medinova's activities and business in the designated geographical area to achieve its continued growth
Maximize the potential of Medinova’s products in the existing markets in cooperation with International Marketing and the local partners
Meet or exceed assigned operational objectives in terms of sales and EBIT
Key contact person with external partners in the designated geographical area for a number of commercial matters (forecasting, ordering, sales reports, etc.)
Key interface and responsible for permanent collaboration with the other departments (Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, etc.) to support the international partners in respective areas
Active interaction with the Supply Chain Department to follow up on the purchase orders
Organize and conduct Business Reviews with selected international partners
Obtain Market Intelligence in the designated geographical area
Business Development
Identify and analyze potential new partners in the designated geographical area
Identify potential new products to be in-licensed / taken over in the designated geographical area
Share inputs, trends or ideas for business opportunities
Prepare business cases and market analysis for the business development leads
Prepare and negotiate agreements and contractual terms
Job requirements
University degree in natural sciences, pharmacy or business administration
Excellent command of English; good command of German, French, Russian or Spanish is a plus
Experienced user of Excel, Word, Powerpoint; SAP knowledge advantageous
Strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
Hands-on individual who enjoys challenges and is dedicated to getting the job done
