Swiss Universal Bank and the “Direct Banking” business area

 

In Switzerland, Credit Suisse operates as a universal bank via the dedicated division Swiss Universal Bank, which has the ambition of providing outstanding solutions for private, corporate and institutional clients.

 

Within the Swiss Universal Bank division, “Direct Banking” is a new business area that focuses on retail and commercial clients who mainly use core banking products. Our ambition is to provide service excellence to our clients, via a combination of digital offering and personal advice, as well as to substantially grow in market share in the segment of tech-savvy clients.

 

Within Direct Banking, the “Value Proposition & Innovation” team is responsible for developing the value proposition for our clients and to innovate our offering in order to acquire new clients and increase share of wallet on existing clients. In this context, we generate growth ideas, we define and drive innovation initiatives, from the conceptual phase to the implementation, in collaboration with the business areas.

• You will be part of an ambitious and entrepreneurial “Activation Initiatives” team and your particular focus will be to develop an attractive offering for clients with financing needs, available via digital and traditional channels


• You will drive the respective initiatives, from high-level concepts to ensuring a smooth implementation and frontline adoption


• You will have the chance to support the interactions with our senior management and partner with various key areas of the bank

• 3+ years of experience with a management consulting firm (senior Business Analyst or Associate level), or a successful track record in a strategy / business development / innovation role within a leading financial institution or a successful fintech company


• Significant experience in banking, ideally with profound knowledge in the field of mortgage and lending related topics


• Excellent conceptual, analytical and interpersonal skills, structured and results-driven way of working, drive and energy to “make things happen”


• Valuable contribution to a positive team spirit and willingness to have fun at work


• An above-average university degree, ideally in business administration, economics or engineering


• Proficiency in English and German
