International Tax Director APAC – Your future position?

As a International Tax Director for APAC, you will be based in our Corporate Headquarters in Vernier and will report to the Group Head of Tax.

You will support the Group Head of Tax in the management of all corporate tax aspects in APAC and will ensure an efficient, sustainable and compliant tax framework for Givaudan’s business activities.

In this exciting opportunity your main responsibilities will be:

• Tax strategy: You will support the Group Head of Tax in tax planning initiatives, mergers and acquisitions as well as Advance Pricing Agreements (APA’s), tax settlements and open dialogues with tax authorities. You will define, select and manage all aspects of the relationship with external providers of tax services and will support the business, as partner, in providing tax advice on relevant topics. You will lead and provide strategic advice concerning transfer pricing, working closely with our shared service in Budapest.

• Tax legislation changes: You will follow up on Tax legislation changes throughout respective regions and optimize tax opportunities linked with the local and region business in connection with local finance managers.

• Tax audit activity: You will manage tax audit activity and liaise closely with the local finance organization to develop the strategy, positioning and execution of audit activities.

Your professional background includes:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics ;


• 8+ years of experience in a similar position within a multinational company or large international tax advisory firm ;


• Excellent Regional and International Tax knowledge ;


• Experience in project management ;


• Strong communication skills in a virtual and matrix organization, team player


• Fluent in English, other language is a plus.
