Candidate profile (text) - Default languageDue to the maternity leave of our Co-worker Relations Manager, we are looking for someone to cover this position in an assignment limited to one year. During this year it is our ambition to support you to grow within your role and IKEA, to get to know our culture and values and finally for you to take over a managerial position within HR either in the office in Spreitenbach or in one of our stores following this assignment. We are looking for a strong contributor to the IKEA co-worker experience, who secures HR subject matter expertise in leading co-worker relations and upholds our global and local co-worker relations principles as well as secures the conditions for an engaging and healthy working environment where co-workers develop and perform.
To be successful in this position you should have:
- Knowledge of legislation regarding the resolution of disputes between IKEA and other corporate and civil parties. - A solid understanding of the rights and obligations of co-workers and how to mediate the relationship between co-workers, employing entities and authorities. - The ability to work independently, take initiative and responsibility, while never losing your team-player attitude. - A minimum of 3 years’ experience in leading projects. - Strong leadership skills and experience in leading through people. - A passion for people, their rights and well-being. - A joy for working in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment. - Very strong oral and written English skills are a pre-requisite. Any other regional language such as German, French or Italian is a plus.

Key responsibilities (text)- Ensuring that the relevant global HR policies and standards are fully supported by the management team, implemented across the country and lived up to (e.g. Code of Conduct, IES). - Establishing and fostering an ongoing open dialogue with co-workers and labour unions. - Leading the development and owning the content of country HR policies and procedures in line with employment law compliance and follow up. - Contributing your expertise to leadership development in relation to co-worker relations, behaviours and trust throughout the organisation. - Leading and developing the problem resolution process on country level, securing consistent execution and follow-up, and secure analysis of root causes. - Training and counseling your HR peers and line managers.
