To augment our delivery teams we are looking for Microsoft lead cum Senior Application Support Analyst (10 - 15 years of experience) with marked leadership qualities to drive our clients in Microsoft technology. This person will strive to become a trusted advisor to our top clients and facilitate the adoption of thought leadership practices thus growing the accounts from within. The role requires polished communication / stakeholders management skills and excellent understanding of Microsoft developments solutions in the Trading sector. The role comes with Analysis, design, development, and test & deployment responsibility. In the day-to-day job the candidate will work closely with customer IT and Business team and also needs to ensure effective communication between the Cognizant teams and the client stakeholders. Summary Job Description:

The Technical Lead, will support applications written in Microsoft based solutions for large global Manlog customer from Geneva. He/she is responsible for ensuring that apps are supported with minimal / no interruption to business and by working with Onshore & offshore team and also working along with customer stakeholders. 

Key Accountabilities:

• Analyse, fix and test production issues (L2/L3 support)• Ensure process/ guidelines laid down as per AMS process are strictly adhered• Work with Offshore team in India to ensure Incidents/ Service request resolution are managed within SLA• Play the role of an overall application owner including the responsibility of quality assurance, code review etc. Overall playing the role of tech lead and mentor fellow team members.• Workin Shifts and weekends on a need basis• Design, develop, integrate & deploy in Microsoft technology (minor enhancements)• Work very closely with 3rd Party Software Vendors, Offshore Providers, Lead Architects & Business Analysts. Should be able to Treat the business requests with high priority• Help/ guide team to adhere to already defined standards. Should be able to ensure that best practices are followed during development.

Job Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of Software Programing experiences in ASP.Net, C#,.NET Core /MVC, PL SQL, VB Scripting, ASP, JavaScript/JQuery ,Oracle, Unix/Linux (shell scripting)• have Production Support experience• hands on experience of Development / test/ Deploy/Support  • work experience in working with global teams • Experience of on-site / off-shore delivery model would be added advantage• Worked on Supporting applications in Trading domain • Software Programing experience ASP.Net, C#,.NET Core /MVC, PL SQL, VB Scripting, ASP, JavaScript/JQuery ,Oracle(above 12 version), Unix/Linux (shell scripting)• L2/L3 Support
