For our innovative Adobe Experience Manager enterprise solution that drives a billion dollar revenue, Adobe is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the AEM Security team. We’re seeking candidates to help us design, build and run high traffic, mission-critical services that drive business for the world’s top brands. We are looking for people who are self-starters and who can drive results and outcomes. You will build and own critical parts of the services and deliver to production.


What you’ll do



  • Help us transition from a monolith to a micro services cloud platform.

  • Design, develop, debug, provide effort estimation and risk analysis of a project/feature/service.

  • Perform due diligence and implement comprehensive unit tests for confirming the use case.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues.

  • Solve complex and pressing technical experience management challenges.

  • Improve identity and access management systems.

  • Review and provide feedback on features, technology, architecture, designs, time & budget estimates, and test strategies.

  • Partner with other teams across Adobe to achieve shared goals.

  • Work with AEM Security Researchers to automate new security gates.

What you need to succeed



  • Bachelor in Computer Science & Engineering or a related area and 5-8 years of experience in the field

  • Solid programming, debugging & troubleshooting skills

  • 5 years of exceptional programming skills. Must have excellent working knowledge of Object Oriented Design & Programming (Java)

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML

  • Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM and other authentication modes

  • Knowledge of integration with target systems like Active Directory , LDAP, cloud, web and mobile applications for SSO and provisioning

  • Having built and scaled micro services is a big plus

  • Interest to keep up with the latest trends in technology

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can effectively articulate ideas

  • Highly motivated, works well in a fast paced collaborative team environment
