The Johnson Electric Global Technology board, based in Murten, Switzerland, is looking for a Technical Assistant (60%) to support it in its mission to drive technology development within the group to maximize the value of the Group IP. You will use your technical expertise, organized nature and excellent written communication skills to support the GTB in publishing reports on its findings and communicating the IP strategy within the group. The ideal candidate will be a well-organized professional able to write technical reports, take minutes on technical meetings and manage a digital archive. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.



Your Responsibilities



  • Manage the Global Technology Board archive

  • Document IP-development activities at Johnson Electric International

  • Take and write minutes for various technical meetings of the Global Technology Board such as patent review, key project reviews and meetings with the Johnson Electric Group Board members

  • Support the Global Technology Board in the writing, updating and documenting of procedures related to IP management

  • Support the Global Technology Board in preparation of strategy documents and periodic reports to top management, creating overviews of KPIs, and preparing presentations and other supporting material

  • Coordinate distribution of IP strategy within the Johnson Electric group

  • Work with the Johnson Electric IP Services team to coordinate Patent Review meetings

  • Support coordination of applied research projects and academic collaborations


Requirements



  • Technical background (at least BSc in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent)

  • Great MS office skills with experience creating technical reports and presentations

  • Experience creating management reports and presentations is an asset

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; the position requires an eye for detail and a drive to maintain a very organized documentation system

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (at least level C1)
