IT System Administrator

We are looking for talented IT System Administrator to join this endeavor and become a member of our
global team to support end users and client devices domestically and internationally, including remote support for non-office based customers. You will collaborate in IT projects both local and enterprise wide.

Specific Responsibilities

• Perform day to day hands on administration, troubleshooting and incident resolution duties using ITIL best practices


• Keep IT Infrastructure up-to-date and manage contracts with local vendors and business partners for the Site(s) responsible


• Manage the local Citrix Farm, VMware and physical servers including a tape backup infrastructure


• Contribute to assigned projects. Attend conference calls and meetings with project team members from around the world, carry out assigned project tasks according to project schedule


• Maintaining relationships with third party providers and monitors Service Level Agreements

Desired Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or equivalent


• Experience as System Administrator


• Sound knowledge of and professional technical experience with Intel based Servers and PC/Laptops. Windows Server 2008 – 2016, Windows 7/10, Citrix, VMware, Storage, Networking (Routers and Switches)


• Sound understanding of customers and their requirements


• Be able to diagnose, analyze and solve complex problems and demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills


• Must be able to complete small to moderate projects with minimal supervision


• Fluency in German and English
