To support our Restorative Therapies Group (RTG) business unit within ENT specialization (Ear, Nose, Throat) for Switzerland we are currently looking for a full-time customer oriented and flexible field Technical Consultant with excellent communication skills, natural ability to provide customer advise & training and to spot business opportunities. This is a great challenge for a person with a clinical or technical background with commercial experience or attitude.
A Day in the Life
As a Technical Consultant within the ENT business you will maintain and develop business with all customers in the French speaking Switzerland. You will do this by providing excellent clinical/technical support and education in collaboration with the sales force, in order to meet or exceed the targets and to enhance Medtronic’s reputation in the market.
You will work closely with our therapy sales specialists and you will support them in daily technical and commercial tasks. Giving presentations and demos about our ENT products, pre- and after sales activities and raising customer product awareness will be part of your job. In this position you will provide support to the medical team in operating theaters including setting the parameters of devices, checking the functionality etc.
We offer you a position where you present and sell our products and services to current and potential clients. This Technical Consultant position is responsible for meeting or exceeding established program targets within a given geographical territory. You will also provide technical support to customers, during surgeries with Medtronic ENT equipment and products. Besides that, you will participate in employee and customer training/education programs. It will be your job to meet (or preferably exceed) financial and non-financial targets in a way that enhances Medtronic’s reputation in the market.
The ENT (Ear Nose Throat) unit helps physicians to provide relief to patients with ENT disorders, such as sinusitis, diseases of the head and neck, thyroid conditions, and diseases in ears.
We are looking for a hands-on individual with a commercial mindset. To be successful in this role very strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. You have proven to be results and quality oriented, integer, innovative and continuously learning. You are able to communicate persuasively, demonstrate product knowledge, display knowledge of key customers. In this role you contribute to building strong relationships and customer loyalty.
