Act as service provider to the front units, support the project teams to prepare and implement respective projects, initiatives and measures, maintain and further develop an efficient control framework, and create awareness across the organization via dedicated initiatives and trainings. In this function you work closely with various functions and specialists within and outside the Bank. The role will involve high business exposure.Responsibilities
Assume responsibility for Crossborder related tasks including handling of daily business requests from front staff as well as ongoing monitoring, resolution and reporting of issues
Perform regular Crossborder controls; identify relevant risks and introduce new or refined controls and procedures; define and roll-out appropriate initiatives and training measures
Work closely together with Compliance and support internal and external audit requests related to Crossborder
Establish an effective working relationship and ensure on-going and close interaction with Bank's front units/ relationship managers to raise awareness for Crossborder rules
Develop and strengthen the Bank's Crossborder framework and identify areas for improvement regarding processes, procedures, tools, controls and reporting
Support the roll-out of the Bank's Crossborder initiatives, principles and standards to further entities in Switzerland and international locations
Prepare analyses, assessments, reports and presentations for senior management; Assume responsibility for selected topics regarding the Suitability Competency of the bank
Profiles
University degree or diploma, preferably in law, business or economics (or equivalent education), however not mandatory
2-3 years of hands-on professional experience in Crossborder related fields (such as Compliance, Risk Management etc.) preferably in banking or insurance
High interest for the legal and regulatory environment and relevant developments in the banking industry with a focus on Crossborder regulation
Strong conceptual, analytical and judgement skills (quantitative/ business analysis and solution design experience a plus); Ability to prioritize, organize your own work and good interpersonal skills are essential
Commitment to high quality delivery with focus on pragmatic and business-centric solutions
High motivation, flexibility to work in a challenging and dynamic environment and willingness to contribute in a team culture
Excellent writing skills in English and German, good communication and presentation skills
