What's the role?


As a strategic intern, you are responsible for the investigation of various information needs of our project stakeholders and develop a scalable communication platform for our IT project managers. It is your job to drive the concept, communicate your vision, and implement the change in close collaboration with the Project Management community. Thus, you will create impact on the success of our Global IT projects.


The start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for at least 3 months.

What does the role involve?


As intern in our department you will be part of our Global IT Project Management Office (PMO). You’ll work closely with our experienced Hilti IT project managers and other project stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to significantly influence the way Hilti is running IT projects considering the requirements as well as latest trends and techniques. It will be your task to analyze communication needs within projects and define processes that help to ensure easy access to relevant information on running projects. You will work in close alignment with our experienced project managers and relevant stakeholders to develop an approach for improved project communication. You will support the implementation of a respective new platform, templates, trainings, and best practices in our Project Management Community.

The various IT demands and projects are coming together in our Project Management Office to provide flexible, cost effective, and value adding IT solutions and support our business to create enthusiastic customers.

What you need is:



  • Bachelor, Master, or PhD student in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related fields

  • Strong Project Management affinity and first Project Management experience

  • Strong communication skills, with excellent English and interpersonal skills to manage change

  • A strategic approach and good problem-solving skills

  • A thirst to learn and challenge yourself
