In this newly created role, you are responsible for the development of industrial process automation solutions (sensors, valves, actuators, hardware, software, firmware, etc.) which create an outstanding customer experience of simplicity, reliability, and desire to select GF Piping Systems products for process automation applications. Jobbeschreibung

• Leading R&D teams by providing expertise (understanding, competence) in the domains of process control systems, industrial measurement and control, valves and actuation fieldbus, integration technologies and field devices


• Identification and global alignment of new technologies that address unmet needs and have large potential markets


• Leading the cooperation with system vendors on field device integration level, representing the interests of GF to improve the quality of device integration aspects (e.g. test strategy, test cases, test environment)


• Understanding user needs: Representing system users to clarify device integration requirements


• Manage & develop external development partners, external resources and/or technical suppliers


• Analyze technology trends, human resource needs, and market demand to plan projects


• Collaborating with management, production, product management, sales and segment marketing colleagues to determine engineering feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products

Kandidaten Profil

• A Master degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Process Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of experience in an equal role


• Deep experience with product development processes from requirements to launch and sustaining, including industrial communication, product requirements, architecture, hardware and software development, verification, production and launch of industrial products


• Demonstrated results and experience, utilizing such tools as Design Thinking, Rapid Prototyping, Design Sprints or Agile methodologies.


• Experience in international and regional standardization (i.e. ISO, UL, EN, etc.)


• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills including analytical and interpersonal skills


• Ability to communicate on technical and business content in English professionally. Ability to communicate and converse in German or further languages are an advantage


• Ability to travel 30%
