The Learning Operations and Technology Manager supports LCTO vision and mission through the development and delivery of learning solutions to promote the highest level of alignment and efficiency across LCTO.
The Learning Operations & Technology Excellence Manager designs, develops and delivers learning experiences, labs, and programs to enable an innovation mindset across LCTs. He/sher will create and drive learning experiences that support LCT Learning priorities.
This Learning Operations & Technology Manager is a creative thinker with strong management skills and prides herself/himself on being innovative and driving new ways of learning. He/she should have instinctive curiosity about trends in adult learning and career development. This role also knows / will endeavour to find new technologies and new ways of learning and brings them to LCTs to have the most effective learning possible.
The Learning Operations & Technology Manager is an individual contributor role that reports into the Learning and Service Evolution Leader.
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for all operations of learning solutions from but not limited to invitations, room bookings, assessments, pre-work, measurement to communications and marketing
Identifies and suggests best tools/technology for all operations of learning solutions
Experience working in and administering Learning Management Systems, Social Media and other tools to organize and track/coordinate learning
Technologically savvy, is responsible for Geminator creation and marketing
Is able to conduct videos and work with innovative technology for learning solutions
As assigned, supports research, design and development of new or otherwise enhanced curricula, programs, instructional modules, manuals and other, additional resources and materials using best practice instructional design principles and methodologies, including adult learning theory, interactive activities, and competency-based evaluations to ensure time spent in training is value-added.
Participates in development, implementation and maintenance of learning evaluation strategies, practices and tools to measure and report on the effectiveness of LCT learning solutions
As assigned, supports manager and other management/staff in developing, implementing and maintaining Training & Performance Support policies, procedures, protocols, systems and tools, and advise on marketing offerings
Is responsible for keeping LCTO portal up to date
Participates in and/or otherwise conducts learning requirements gathering and needs analysis.
Designs and manages the evaluation process for assigned training sessions. Expected to communicate outcomes in a timely and targeted manner; includes identifying and recommending opportunities to continuously enhance offerings.
May deliver training and/or systems demonstrations in group and individual sessions. Includes all potential delivery modes involving instructor-led training
Qualifications
We are looking for a professional with a Bachelor's Degree and experience in learning and other technology expertise is preferred (for eg IT, Video Production, Game production, …) You will bring:
Understanding of learning principles/methodologies and application in a complex, matrix global business environment. Includes experience using a training design/development process, i.e. ADDIE or equivalent
Experience with E-Authoring tools and social media to drive engagement and sustainability.
Previous experience and/or exposure to and sufficient knowledge of development in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology
Advanced project management and process improvement skills
Good interpersonal, communication and influencing skills and can influence without authority
Works well within global multidisciplinary teams and is effective in collaborating with others internally and externally
Curious, creative and brings new ways of learning
