Position Summary

 


 


In this position, you will ensure full compliance (Electrical Safety, Food Safety, Legal and Labeling) of all Nespresso machines developed and already on the market. You will endorse regulatory watch on applicable regulations for electrical and food safety standards and trigger as operational leader to fullfilling the applicable regulation changes. You will also liaise internally (Markets, Machine Development, Marketing, Quality, Supply chain…) and externally (developers, OEMS, labs, customers…) to maintain and provide up to date compliance information at any time and ensure legal compliance of coffee machines (ADLC, patent infringement...).

A day in the life of Coffee Machines Compliance Manager

 



  • Coordinate the approval process with OEMs, developers & external laboratories as per plan and maintenance of the certificates via Approval IT Tool.

  • Ensure machines supplied to market remains 100% compliant in collaboration with Machine Project QA Experts in all activities of machine developments, continuous engineering and continuous improvement

  • Consolidate and lead compliance requests coming from various sources (markets, partners, suppliers) through Engineering Change Request process. (Coordination w/ alterego in Dev.)

  • Own labelling validation process in coordination with Marketing.

  • Assess and validate Certificate of Compliance of coffee machines

  • Lead compliance issues resolution

  • Maintain information, perform process survey and act as ambassador of full compliance across the full value chain.


What will make you successful

 



  • Master degree in a Material Science/chemical Engineering discipline preferred

  • Knowledge in Electrical Engineering is an asset

  • 3-5 years In a Household appliance/Medical devices/Automotive company

  • 1-3 years’ experience in product certification and compliance domain

  • Experience in Testing Laboratory (Notified body as TUV, SGS, Eurofins, UL) may be an option

  • Familiar with contract manufacturing environment (stakeholder management)

  • Strong communication & influential skills

  • Robust Quality mindset

  • Fluent in English and French, German is a plus
