Our Manufacturing Operations teams are the people that make our products. We work in the manufacturing plants with a “Safety First, Quality Always” mindset striving for continuous improvement.


We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products. Under the direction of the Global Data Lead, the incumbent is responsible to ensure master data is a key enabling asset supporting the company’s Digital Transformation and system-based decision making leading to improved business outcomes. In this new Digital Era and the intertwinement of Data into our operations the role of the Senior Specialist, Master Data Management is becoming more paramount and critical to support the company through the transformation of “digital data enablement”.


This is a liaison role and will be part and working directly with the Regional ISO and IT to execute the program and project activities and troubleshooting and coaching to maximize the knowhow efficiency of the SME/Super Users in the region.


The position is responsible to support operations to improve, develop as needed, guide and support realization of programs/projects as well as Global Data processes, activities that creates and codifies data standards and rules, manages accurate data workflow capabilities and establishes robust diagnostics processes to ensure master data is aligned with the rules and standards needed to execute and improve the business processes it enables.


As Senior Specialist Master Data Management the person interacts in close collaboration with regional teams to ensure processes, improvement priorities and programs are effectively managed globally and end to end.  As part of overall data management, this position strives aligning governance, process, standards and rules across stakeholder organizations including but not limited to Operating Units, Finance, Global Business Services, COMET and Integrated Product Information.


The primary activities include but are not limited to the following activities:



  • Working directly with the Regional ISO and IT to execute the program activities

  • Experience in data quality, systems to improve business process integration and data accuracy.

  • Improve data accuracy to optimize business outcomes

  • Coach and train to maximize the knowhow efficiency of the SME/Super Users in the region

  • Execution in various supply chain projects interacting with all SCM area and SAP rollouts including data build, testing, implementation and hyper care.

  • Demonstrated understanding of Financial Supply Chain constructs and profound Portfolio knowledge

  • Intimate understanding of Hub operational E2E data activities

  • Address, troubleshoot and escalate bottleneck situations

  • Broaden understanding of Supply Chain Management and continuous improvement of the information area with checks, analysis to ensure high data quality


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor degree in Business Management or a related field such as Manufacturing, Logistics and Supply Chain is preferred

  • Eight years working experience with minimum five years experience in SCM and Product Data, preferably in pharmaceutical environment   

  • Core knowledge of Master Data and Information Steward Organization (ISO) processes

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to break down complex problems and projects into manageable pieces and come up with efficient and sustainable solutions

  • Capable of understanding beyond data and link to business outcomes

  • Self-working and natural sense of urgency and drive to completion

  • Dealing with operational pressure and ambiguous environment

  • Highly organized profile, proactive and problem-solving mindset

  • Strong oral and English communication skills written and verbally

  • Knowledge and experience with Master Data Structure and with information systems supporting master data and supply chain activities (e.g. SAP ERP, ECC, APO, Appian) combined with an understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations (SCOR model).

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft based systems (Strong in MS Excel and Access) with regards to development of reports, measurements, presentation and data analytics experience with any tools like Spotfire.

  • Leadership, interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills for both decision making and guiding team members.

  • Able to effectively partner with functional areas outside your specific area of expertise and training to achieve common objectives.
