Numab Therapeutics AG is an evolving, innovative Swiss biotech company based in Wädenswil. The company is
focused on the discovery and development of novel, antibody fragment-based therapeutics. With our
breakthrough antibody-discovery and multi-specifics engineering platform, we engage in proprietary projects as
well as collaborative research on behalf of partners in the pharmaceutical industry.
To support the discovery and development of innovative antibody fragment-based therapies we are looking for
a motivated and highly experienced individual to join us as:

Scientist SPR/Ligand binding 100%

In this position you will report to the VP Discovery and you will supervise a team of research associates and
technicians. You will play a leading role in the characterization and selection of Numab’s multispecific
antibodies.
Your Responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the fields of SPR (surface plasmon resonance) and other biochemical
  ligand binding assays and provide guidance to the research project teams


• Develop and apply methods for comprehensive characterization of protein-antibody interactions,
  including affinity determinations, epitope determination and ligand binding assays


• Generate, analyze and present data for lead candidate evaluations to support decision making at
  discovery stage gates


• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely progress in research projects

Your profile

• PhD in Biochemistry, Protein Chemistry or related life science field


• Experience in industrial setting is preferable


• Extensive experience in kinetic characterization of bio-molecular interactions using SPR instruments
  (e.g. Biacore, SPR-32)


• Expertise in biochemical ligand binding assays, such as ELISA, for characterization of binding
  properties of antibodies


• Self-motivated with the ability to act solution-oriented when presented with unforeseen challenges to
  drive assigned projects to completion and willing to take initiative


• Ability to work independently and to prioritize and manage multiple projects and activities


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Sound oral and written English.
