Introduction

As an SAP MDG Application Package Specialist, you'll help clients in the selection, implementation, and production support of application packaged solutions. You'll gain in-depth consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the clients’ business environment. Your Role and Responsibilities


Your day in the role will include...

  • Support our client in taken up their challenges such as introducing governance in their organization and bringing more transparency into the master data process execution and data quality.

  • Design and lead the overall strategic and tactical data governance and migration initiatives, data cleansing initiatives and data profiling initiatives as well as data warehouse design, modeling and implementation for our customers.

You will come with...

  • Expertise with master data solution design and translating business requirements into SAP MDG (Master Data Governance).

  • Experience in implementation planning, fit analysis, configuration, testing, rollout and post-implementation support.

  • Good knowledge and experience within the Data Management Tools and a thorough understanding of SAP integration points.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise



  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)

  • Good conceptual expertise for MDG-BP e.g. number ranges, BP Roles, hierarchies

  • Experience with:

    • MDG process consulting, modelling and consolidation

    • Workflow concepts and BRF including enhanced validation and derivation rulesets

    • SAP MDG DRF and SAP PO / PI interface communication


  • Knowledge about mappings utilizing SMT

  • Ideally worked with the MDG FPM

  • An ability to pro-actively take ownership of, and analytical problem solving skills

  • Excellent verbal/written communications skills

  • Fluency in German and English (written & spoken)
