As a Digital Transformation Specialist, you will help create significant impact from implementation and operational support for digital transformation solutions. Opportunities and activities are identified by improvement methodology, technology and by building broader staff capabilities. This role is heavily focused on supporting solution delivery, capacity free up and operational maintenance of emerging technology implementations.

 
Your Role
 

As a Digital Transformation Specialist your main responsibilities will involve: 



  • Delivery and maintenance of fit for purpose, cost efficient digital automation and robotic solutions to ensure efficiency targets are achieved for Zurich

  • Ensure adherence to governance operating model and completeness development, testing and go live procedures

  • Training of “super users” in managing automation / robotics technology

  • Ensure appropriate documentation to agreed standards for emerging technology solutions

  • Registration, management & maintenance of opportunities within program management tools (e.g. JIRA) to ensure all activities are effectively recorded and progressed 

  • Be an active participant and follow up on appropriate actions from Innovation activities such as Lean workshops and Hackathons

  • Ensure that automation projects support standardization of processes when they arise

  • Use existing and support new tools when implementing automation

  • Reporting and tracking of benefits from activities implemented

  • Proactive management of stakeholders at all stages of the digital transformation development cycle

  • Support ongoing operational developments for enhancements, increased scoping or bug fixing 


Your Skills and Experience
 

As a Digital Transformation Specialist your skills and qualifications will ideally include: 



  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance or related field

  • At least 3+ years’ post graduate work experience in creation of digital automation / robotics tools e.g. SAP scripting, VBA or other mainstream programming language

  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: Blue Prism, Microsoft technologies, Power BI, Python, workflow solutions plus data presentation tools

  • Proven experience or strong intrinsic skills to learn in using dedicated digital transformation tools e.g. Software Robotics, AI & Machine Learning

  • Preferably Lean Green or Black Belt certification

  • Mainstream programming certification

  • Fluent in English, German is a plus 


Additional Information 

Work location is Zurich. The travel requirement is up to 5%.
