In this position you will be responsible to organize the operation of the warehouse. You manage staff and ensure the correct stock levels are maintained.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Receiving and issuing of stock as defined by the logistics procedures
• correct implementation of logistic procedures
• Responsible for all documentation related to the incoming goods
• Coordination of internal logistics, material flow, stock control, inventory
• Comply with customer specific requirements
• Performance of Logistics Audits with Pareto-analyses
• Responsible for waste management
• Responsible for disciplinary issues within the Unit together with the shift leader
• Improvements in Warehouse/Shipping and identification of weaknesses within the logistics processes linked to the improvement ideas process, avoidance of obsoletes and slow-moving items
• Conduct daily TIER meetings, drive and motivate production team for continuous improvement in all areas according Unit standard, inform shift about production problems, defects with the parts, provide solutions, etc.
• Supervision of the warehouse and logistic team, assign the task and jobs to each team-member
• Responsible for the accomplishment of health and safety issues and the briefing of it
• Ensuring that multiskilling and job rotation is implemented as required by the Unit standard
• Checkup status of forklifts and warehouse equipment together with maintenance
• Qualified education in logistics-commercial-supply chain
• At least 3 years of professional experience in similar position
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Applications
• SAP Knowledge
• Quality knowledge regarding warehousing
• Logistics & warehouse experience
• Fluent in German and advanced English language skills
