The System-on-Chip group within the Integrated and Wireless Systems division of CSEM is expanding and is looking for an:


The System-on-Chip group within the Integrated and Wireless Systems division of CSEM is expanding and is looking for a candidate to complete its team of highly-skilled IC design engineers. The group is mainly active in developing innovative mixed-signal low-power ICs for state-of-the-art applications. You will complete CSEM’s internationally recognized team of experts in the field of very low-power CMOS electronics.


The System-on-Chip group offers an exceptional opportunity to work on high-performance developments for industrial customers as well as on longer-term applied Swiss and European research projects, in accordance with CSEM mission to bridge the gap between universities and industry. We are looking for a curious and motivated engineer willing to tackle today’s most advanced design challenges and work in a dynamic and innovative environment.


 


Your mission



  • Contribute to the design of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for both industrial and research projects

  • Take responsibility for the specification, design, simulation, layout, validation and characterization of analog and mixed-signal circuits

  • Participate in the architecture, design and verification at the system level

  • Work together with international customers, international universities and research institutes

  • Innovate, think out of the box, challenge yourself


 


Your profile



  • Ms or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering (electronics, microelectronics, …)

  • A few years of experience in the design of CMOS analog circuits, with an emphasis on low-power

  • Proven track record and interest in designing new innovative solutions to real life-problems

  • Experience in the use of CAD tools (our main flow is Cadence, with Mentor tools available, as well as Matlab, etc)

  • Team spirit and flexibility to ensure the success of projects

  • Fluency in English; French or German is an asset


This position is located either in Neuchâtel or Zürich (Switzerland).
