Digital Services Coordinator (Geneva - Switzerland) Fixed term contract


Key responsibility will be the overall supervision of the OTA digital platform development – predominantly consisting of coordinating the work of consultants in charge of the platform’s development, act as an interface with FIA IT department and ensure that the most up-to-date tourism data are made available on the platform.


MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:


• Coordinate developments with the external development teams on products and projects (OTA, CPD customs portal, Mobile Apps, CPD and IDP Websites, Database, Hosting, API and external tools)
• Create functional product requirements for development teams
• Provide backlog management, and elaboration of user stories
• Design a sustainable data collection mechanism and ensure that the most up-to-date information is provided to users
• Produce added value reports related to trade, logistics and tourism
• Manage the trade and tourism information helpdesk embedded in the platform
• Plan product feature backlog and development for the products according to priorities set by the Product Team
• Be the internal liaison between the IT department, external consultants and the tourism department
• Track the project deliverables and match those with agreed deadlines
• Provide help and support to our digital stakeholders
• Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
• Keep track of latest digital trends to advise stakeholders on best technological choices
• Other responsibilities upon requirement


PROFILE:


• Broad intellectual background with a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, Logistics or related field
• 5 years of relevant industry experience in project management for consumer-facing logistics services, preferably in the Middle east and/or South-east Asia
• Demonstrated familiarity with Scrum or similar project management méthodologies
• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
• A solid understanding of border-crossing issues in the GCC area affecting commercial and private vehicle
• Familiarity with international border-crossing instruments and temporary customs regimes such as CPD, TIR, ATA
• Business proficiency in English: writing, speaking, reading. French and Arabic a +
• Strong Excel skills. Knowledge of programming languages is an asset
• Strong analytical skills, systematic thinker
• Attention to detail
• Strong motivation in the area of international relations, tourism and mobility
