Senior Manager Finance - GCS Accounts Receivable​

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager - Global Accounts Receivable will provide leadership across Europe and North America leading the Credit and Collections process for the Clinical Trials Division. The role is integral in implementing a world class process that enhances and aligns across the geographies. Responsible to develop policies and plans to drive accounts receivable and implement key reporting metrics to measure success. This is a highly visible position within the organization and will interact extensively with management. The successful candidate will business partner with the commercial team, operations and external customers. Must be a champion of change management. The individual will have two (one based in Europe and one based in Allentown, PA) direct reports and a team of approximately fifteen. The position may be based in Allentown, PA, Center Valley, PA, Horsham, UK, or Basel, Switzerland.

Key responsibilities:



  • Lead efforts to improve and align Accounts Receivable global outcomes

  • Review and implement standardized policies and process over collections, dispute management

  • and credit. Collaborate and influence order management.

  • Drive strategic improvements in cash flow and DSO

  • Recommend and Implement Key Performance Indicators

  • Develop insightful analytics and metrics to drive performance

  • Lead successful implementation of process improvements and software

  • Partner with major Invoicing Automation initiative across the company

  • Drive culture of continuous improvement and accountability across the Clinical Trials Division

  • Strong Business Acumen

  • Change management skills

  • Ability to attract and retain talented team; create proactive training and development plans

  • Travel requirements 20 - 40%

Your background:



  • Bachelor’s Degree is required; focus on Accounting / Finance

  • Minimum 10+ Years finance experience with increasing responsibility; pharmaceutical experience preferred

  • Project Management Leadership (successfully led projects)

  • Strong Analytical capabilities

  • Multi-national environment

  • Business to Business Collections in healthcare industry

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

  • Requires critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Goal Oriented, self-starter and proactive business partner

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships in a matrix environment as well as influence employees

  • Strong Microsoft Excel and systems skills
