About this opportunity
Deliver all aspects of Project Management including scope definition, detailed project planning, monitoring and controlling and risk management. Exercise hands-on risk and issue management: identify and escalate issues, propose solutions and implement optimal solutions. Work with regional and global stakeholder groups including remote teams, global corporate partners and regional Executive Team. Lead project team members and infuence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work Build, develop, and grow stakeholder network vital to the success of the projects assigned to you. Proactively participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Ensure compliance with the global process and project methodology. Responsibilities: Conduct project post mortems and creating a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. Travel (minimal travel of 10% - 20% expected quarter). Monitor and report on EMEA project portfolio to the Executive and management team. Coordinate key portfolio planning and review activities of EMEA PMO team with management. Take the lead on development and improvement of PMO tools, incl. SharePoint spaces, project execution templates and guidelines. Experience: 4-6 years of experience in Project Management including leading projects across the full project lifecycle. BA or equivalent of two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combinaton of education and experience. Experience in both driving software development and commercial projects is a nice-have. Experience in medical devices industry preferred but not essential. Strong business acumen. Proven track-record of working with cross-functional teams including software development, marketing, sales, legal, regulatory. Should have experience working with C-level executives. Experience working in process improvement initiatives is welcome Experience working in multi-cultural, international environment is a must. Demonstrable strong stakeholder management skill-set is essential to succeed in this position. Demonstrable leadership skills. Waterfall (Prince2 Foundation or Practitioner) or agile project management certification (e.g. SCRUM Master) is a nice-have for this role. Proficient in English, written and spoken; local language is a nice-have; Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams). MS Project, Smartsheet, PlanView are a plus. |
