Mission
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will evaluate and analyse with the line managers the means to be implemented to tailor resources to business requirements and steer and ensure the application of HR policies and tools in client departments. The HRBP will also provide support to client departments in terms of day-to-day resource management (recruitment, mobility, labour law, etc.) and act as a change agent and HR ambassador to internal clients.


 


Main Responsibilities



  • Hold regular meetings with internal clients to determine their needs and propose solutions in line with HR rules and policies.

  • Provide support to managers in explaining and contextualising organisational and strategic decisions to their teams.

  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to provide hiring managers a high quality recruitment service

  • Work closely with the Talent Management Manager to identify staff training requirements and to advise line manager in matters relating to team development.

  • Work in close cooperation with the line managers to enhance working relations, productivity, efficiency and employee retention.

  • Provide guidance to the line managers on decisions regarding reorganisation, workforce planning and back-up or succession plans.

  • Maintain updated organizational charts.

  • Analyse HR dashboard data in order to advise internal clients on the decisions to take.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the legal obligations linked to the day-to-day management of employees (working conditions, time management, etc.) in order to better advise internal clients and thereby reduce the risks of non-compliance.

  • Participate in performance evaluations with the line managers when requested to do so and follow up on a regular basis.

  • Help to disseminate HR communications within the relevant departments.

  • Put forward proposals for changes to HR activities, processes and policies.    


 


Training and language and IT competences



  • Swiss federal diploma in HR (or equivalent) or university education in human resources management; and at least 6-10 years’ experience in a similar post.

  • Knowledge of international and multicultural environments.

  • Languages: English and French. Knowledge of other languages would be a plus.

  • Full proficiency in MS Office 365 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Skype for Business, OneNote).
