About this opportunity

The Director of Clinical & Professional Education leads the Company’s thinking, creation and execution of all clinical educational across EMEA. The role will be responsible to deliver against clear goals to improve activation, utilization, clinical confidence and customer experience for both Orthodontists and General Practitioners in order to support the business to meet its key strategic objectives. 

In this role, you will…

• Demonstrate and encourage new thinking in the creation of new/different programs and initiatives; challenges team to invent “out of the box” solutions to increase activation, ultilization, clinical confidence and experience


• Lead Education team members across EMEA to achieve their objectives and enhance their professional development


• Develop local excellence across EMEA to ensure that we are close to our customers to deliver against the diverse and often changing needs of the customer base


• Lead Externalized partner delivery programmes including contract negotiations and KPI setting (i.e. EUMAA)


• Develop relationships with industry KOLs and institutions including University Programmes


• Apply deep subject matter expertise in clinical education to develop new educational offerings and enhance existing propositions


• Contribute at ELT level to defining and articulating unmet internal & external customer educational needs for AOP and LRP


• Educate and influence others in the organization regarding Clinical & Professional Education and its role in meeting customer needs


• Facilitates cross-functional project teams including Marketing Colleagues from inception to completion to ensure within-budget, on-time, and on-target project deliverables as part of the channel strategy


• Lead delivery of our education platform working with third party vendors in event production and congress execution.

In this role, you’ll need …

• Bachelors degree or equivalent-required


• An advanced degree in science or business is strongly preferred


• 10+ years experience in dental/pharmaceutical/medical device education or related area – dental experience preferred


• Extensive experience of leading diverse teams


• Experienced in educational design and application of educational design in online technology- required


• E-Learning, Curriculum Development experience preferred


• Marketing/Sales Training experience- preferred


• Experience with professional accreditation processes – preferred
