Your responsibilities
The Manager of Indirect Materials & Services is in charge of establishing a global sourcing organization.
Manage Indirect Category team hierarchically and functionally across all Medela sites (skill, capacity, performance, career development)
Accountable for contribution of global Indirect Material to the BUs as well as group functions
Accountable for the setting of and achievement of the objectives of cost optimization and supply base optimization
BPO of Global Category Management for Indirect Materials
Provide forward looking guidance on trends, threats and opportunities
Set the top down target for Indirect Material & Services 3rd party spend
Assure the bottom up alignment of site objectives with the BU and Group targets
Interface to all support functions for Sourcing activities
Act as a change agent in regards to main stakeholders
Management of competency & category management team
Ensure consistent application of all Sourcing levers
Pilot Sourcing KPIs
Ensure compliance and application of Sourcing process
Drive Global Indirect Sourcing & Governance Committee
Lead Continuous Improvement of Indirect Material practices
Supply base Risk Management
Your qualifications
Master degree
10+ years in-depth strategic and operational Sourcing experience with a solid working knowledge of global Category management
Management experience within a global complex organization
Ability to work with a virtual team
Category knowledge, Sourcing processes
