For our location in Bern, for the Process Development department we are looking for a


Scientist in Process Development, R&D (100%, temporary 9 months) (m/f/d)


Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:



  • Perform data analysis from laboratory and manufacturing scale studies

  • Write and review protocols and/or reports for process development and manufacturing studies

  • Support scoping, planning, execution and documentation of small-scale experiments in the frame of process characterization using DoE methodology

  • Search and study project relevant scientific literature

  • Comply with the relevant quality systems

  • Support production regarding technical clarifications

  • Collaborate effectively on multidisciplinary Teams


Qualifications & Experience:



  • BSc, MSc or PhD in Life Sciences

  • At least 2 years laboratory experience

  • Superior technical and scientific writing skills

  • Scientific knowledge of Quality by design (QbD), process characterization and process development

  • Ability to effectively construct, interpret and clearly communicate data in written and oral forms

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in Design of Experiments (DoE) and statistics would be an asset

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, German would be an asset
