Senior Manager New Projects

What you do:

• Assistance in managing of the interfaces between the New Projects' Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Marketing, Product Management, Production, Assembly, Quality, Experimental Shop, Flight Test Department and all Company Service Departments (e.g. Reliability & Maintainability and Safety, Certification)


• Assistance in strategic planning of the IPT from a technical, financial and an organizational standpoint


• Assistance in multidisciplinary teams management tasks (at both technical and functional level)


• Active participation to the IPT top-level management decision making processes


• Leading of complex multidisciplinary technical development projects


• Supplier and programme management tasks


• Direct report to the Director of the New Projects Department

What you bring:

• University Degree in Aeronautical Engineering with aircraft design and/or mechanical systems design experience; a generalist is considered to be the ideal candidate for this position


• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in aircraft and/or aircraft systems design and certification (to EASA CS-23 or FAA FAR-23 regulations)


• Proven experience in the management of multidisciplinary engineering teams and of complex engineering projects


• Strong management and social skills


• Fluent in English and German (both spoken and written, min. C1)
