A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Reporting to the Marketing Manager for Spinal Robotics and dotted line to RTG Training and Education Director, you will be working within the Spinal Robotics team, collaborate primarily with business and marketing functions and T&E Coordinators. You will be responsible for the design, development, delivery and execution of external and internal medical programs for the Mazor Robotics Platform.

MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES


Develop external and internal education strategy, and translate the strategy into programs to deliver Robotic training program for internal sales force and new customers including surgeons and OR staff.

Gain business buy-in on plans & programs, and secure funding through annual operating plan process (AOP).

Collaborate with key internal and external partners including Faculty, Regional and Country Marketing and Business Unit (BU), EU IMPACT team, training centers:
· To assess needs and define clear learning objectives
· To design robotics learning paths, develop content, and deliver curriculum through appropriate formats – webinars, cadaver courses, VSP’s, e-trainers etc.
· To measure impact of training programs through adoption and other metrics, while identifying opportunities to improve learning experience and make relevant improvements.



Identify and develop cross business T&E opportunities & synergies to leverage training platforms, channels, resources and expertise i.e. collaboration within RTG business around procedural solutions, and other businesses.



Be accountable for the execution of all aspects of Robotics T&E from physician experience labs to OR staff training up to installation and case support. These include:


· To perform training of hospital Staff and surgeon prior to first surgery.
· To Perform clinical case coverage during installation.
· To support surgical team with the correct usage of Robotic Equipment during the case.
· To optimize OR (Operation Room) set-up for Robotic use in coordination with hospital staff
· To coordinate upcoming installations in collaboration with country staff and hospital team.
· To consistently and effectively communicate with the hospital to assure alignment of all involved hospital staff to further best outcome of installation.
Partner with and supervise T&E support staff to :
· Ensure overall logistical management of the Robotic KOL’s in Europe including organisation of their commitment and VSPs.
· Ensure transport and delivery logistics for material.
· Ensure overall logistics of inventory and demo material management used for training, education and marketing events


JOB QUALIFICATIONS



· At least 4 years of experience within medical education field and / or 4 to 5 years in sales/technical support position
· Experience in developing and deploying medical education programs
· Experience in KOL (Key Opinion Leader) management
· Experience in designing learning objectives and assessing learning outcomes
· Experience in project management, and multiple stakeholder engagement
· Experience working in the field of SPINE is a must
