CES Business Development Manager - Meetings & Events (B30/Individual Sales Contributor). Position based in Switzerland (Zurich or virtual)
The CES Business Development manager for American Express Meetings & Events is responsible for the successful sales of our CES (Custom Events Services) solutions to prospective clients in Switzerland and to American Express Business Travel & Card clients.
The CES Business Development manager will insure proper pipeline development, key account and win strategies to maintain effective pipeline in support of meeting or exceeding sales target in current and future years.
Role will also interface effectively with the M&E leadership and operational teams to insure profitability and continuous and successful synergies between our complete value, positioning to prospects in the sales process and effective post-sale delivery.
The target selling audience includes Head/VP level clients, as well as Event/Communication/Marketing/Sales Managers and Meeting Professionals and client Procurement teams.
The CES Business Development manager will utilize strong collaborative and relationship building skills to leverage his own network but also the channel resources of multiple American Express internal resources, such as Client Management and Business Travel/Card Sales to grow pipeline and increase selling opportunity.
The CES Business Development manager will focus on getting new prospects in the American Express Meetings & Events portfolio. The Candidate will demonstrate a strong local network.
