Global Technical Director for Immunoglobulin (Construction, Engineering and Qualification Lead)
As Global Director for Construction, Engineering and Qualification you are responsible for development and ownership of engineering design standards for all Immunoglobulin manufacturing facilities under consideration of Best Practice in the industry, and meet CSL Behring’s expectations regarding capacity, efficiency and quality. This includes ensuring that existing standards are applied to our overall vision and all strategic projects.
Your responsibilities furthermore include:
Preparation and management of key engineering groups and supply contracts – Facility & Clean Room Construction, Utilities, Process Equipment, General Contractor & Process Automation System Integrators.
Manage a crossfunctional team of engineers and work effectively in a network of global / local functions and stakeholders
Establish, track and manage project schedule/critical path activities, status reporting, and resource plan development to ensure projects are completed on time, on-schedule and within budget
Undertake, direct or assist others in the preparation and approval of Capital Expenditure Proposals
Inspire and set guidance by providing an overall picture and vision, so that project teams are ware on project objectives, specifications, deliverables, timelines and tasks at all times
Keep all team members and stakeholders informed through clear structure and strategy and a concise communication
Identify issues that may delay project deliverables and provide recommendations toward appropriate risk mitigation strategies, contingencies and actions to be taken

Furthermore, you possess the following competencies:
Master’s degree in Civil, Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of ten years of project management and leadership experience in an industrial environment, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
Excellent knowledge of building design and construction systems, plant equipment maintenance and a basic understanding of related mechanical equipment
A sound understanding of quality management systems and procedures, risk management methodologies and processes as well as contract management
Knowledge of Six Sigma / Lean principles a plus
Well-developed ability in working with others through a matrix management structure.
Advanced skills in MS-Project, MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Visio, AutoCAD and MS-Outlook and an understanding of GMP and GLP principles
In this role, you can work at any of the CSL Behring manufacturing sites and you would regularly be present at the different sites.
