Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer and other types of solid cancers.

To support our team in Root, Switzerland we are looking for a 

Accounts Receivable Manager 

In this position you will be a key member of the EMEA Revenue Operations team, especially in leading the invoice to cash process for patients in all countries within the Region. This includes managing the invoicing process, following-up with third party insurances as needed to monitor the collections as well as assisting in ensuring the accuracy of the Revenue accounting from a Management Reporting and SOX compliance perspective. As part of a growing team, this role will lead or support various projects focusing on continuous process and systems improvement initiatives, which involves frequent interaction with several cross-functional partners inside our company and across geographies.

Your responsibilities:

• Leadership and development of the Accounts Receivables team with currently 4 employees


• Supervision and development of Billing & Cash Posting Content and Process for the EMEA markets


• Support in the development of Novocure's (ERP System) 


• Planning, Executing and Monitoring all Revenue Operations-related Sox Controls within the EMEA markets


• Collaborate with the Global Analytics team on ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements


• Adopt a continuous process improvement mindset for the assigned scope of responsibility and executing process improvements


• Close cooperation with internal and external partners


• Support the team in solving billing & payments-related escalated case conflicts


• Ensure activities comply with the applicable Novocure Quality System requirements 

Your profile:

• Bachelor`s or Master's Degree in Financial Accounting / Business Administration (or equivalent) OR Chartered Specialist in Accounting and Financial Management (Federal Diploma of Higher Education)


• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience, including the ability to work cross-functionally, build consensus and develop staff


• At least 5 years relevant job experience in Revenue Cycle, Billing and/or Collections or Finance including a track record of leading a small team in a dynamic growth environment


• Knowledge of legal and regulatory environment, with corresponding guidelines


• Fluent in German and English


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in using MS Excel


• Experience with SAP preferred


• Knowledge of CH GAAP (US GAAP is an advantage)


• Ability to travel up to 10%
