About this opportunity


We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with strong commercial mindset and experience working with software development teams. Your mission is to oversee all aspects of a project and ensure its completion on time, within budget and within the pre-defined requirements.


The Program Manager will work on key global projects in close collaboration with the VP of Business Transformation and exposed to all levels and teams across the commercial organization. You must be a strong influencer, passionate about change.


A Program Manager coordinates all resources and stakeholders, setting milestones and deadlines, assigning/delegating responsibilities, monitoring, summarizing and communicating the progress of the project(s). The Program Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. The Program Manager is accountable for the delivery of projects on behalf the EMEA Program Management team.


In this role, you will…



  • Manage all aspects of Project/Program Management including scope definition, detailed project planning, monitoring and controlling and risk management

  • Management of end to end projects and programs, within a regional and global environment; building and managing global teams and stakeholder management

  • Coaching, mentoring, motivating and supervising project team members and contractors, and influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work

  • Building, developing, and growing business relationships vital to the success of the project

  • Proactive participation in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals

  • Ensuring compliance with the global process and project methodology

  • Management of external parties when required

  • Conducting project post mortems and creating a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

  • Developing best practices and tools for project execution and management

  • Monitoring and reporting on progress of entire project portfolio for EMEA region

  • Expected travel can range from 10% to 20% per quarter


In this role, you’ll need …



  • BA or equivalent of two-year College or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5-10 years of experience in the field of Project Management. Experience in medical devices industry preferred but not essential.

  • Track record of successful delivery of projects in an international environment.

  • Proven track record of working with cross-functional global teams including software development, marketing, sales, legal, and regulatory. Experience working with C-level executives preferred.

  • Experience managing multiple and complex projects across the full project lifecycle. Experience driving software development and commercial projects strongly preferred.

  • Experience with project portfolio management preferred

  • Waterfall or agile project management certification (Prince2 Practitioner, PMP, Scrum Master) would be a nice to have, yet not essential for the role if the right experience can be demonstrated.

  • Proficient in English; Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint. MS Project is a plus.
