GENERAL SUMMARY:
The MDM Data Analyst is part of the Master Data Governance Department. Goal is to drive data analysis to ensure high data quality throughout the complete lifecycle of the data. It includes activities to support data quality standard definition, evolution and embedment in the organization ensuring knowledge and use harmonized across the organization. Actively engaged in master data initiatives supporting process and change management within the organization.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Establishes data impact of business decisions;
• Responsible for proposing master data standards to the data domain manager and in charge of maintaining master data standards & policies, including master data model;
• Performs necessary actions with master data domain manager, business functions and GBT (if relevant) to improve business performance;
• Performs necessary actions under the co-ordination of the master data domain manager to drive the governance frame implementation and to support master data initiatives;
• Supports the master data domain manager on impact/root cause analysis
• Maintains and safeguards documentation of master data processes and standards;
• Advocates effective application and usage of master data;
• Actively champions and participates in master data management projects and initiatives.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement;
QUALIFICATIONS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and /or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position.
• Fundamental understanding of relevant business processes and able to translate business requirements into data solutions;
• Disciplined and able to adhere to defined policies and procedures;
• Passion for data quality and management;
• Experience in process improvement, lean six sigma is a plus
• Experience with Master Data Management, both process systems as data governance
• Experience with SAP MDG and/or other MDM tools is a plus
• Effective communication skills;
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities;
• Proficient in MS office
• Fluent in English
