Global Product Manager Rigid Foams (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Management of the global rigid foam AIREX® product portfolio, and controlling of product performance (quality, sales, costs), in close cooperation with global Sales and Customers, Operations, Solutions Engineering/Tech. Services and R
  
  
  
  
  • Manage the life cycle of the product range - development, launch, maintenance, improvement and phase out in line with the defined product strategy; Accountable for the product change management, facilitating change process according to the defined process
  
  
  • Turn market / competition / customer needs analyses into business and product value propositions
  
  
  • Contribute to Marketing & Sales strategy
  
  
  • Strategic and sustainable positioning of our core products in their largest markets
  
  


• Develop business opportunities in current & new markets, in close cooperation with Sales and R&D
  
  
  
  
  • Assure a constant stream of innovations to maintain the company’s leading edge
  
  
  • Evolve a prioritized funnel of business development opportunities and ensure the appropriate focus/resources to those opportunities
  
  
  • Promote & introduce new products / solutions in ramp-up phase and support Sales & Marketing activities
  
  

Your profile:

• Higher education in Engineering, Economics or technical background complemented by further education


• 5+ years of global working experience in the manufacturing industry, ideally in the composites industry


• Processing knowledge & market know-how in composites materials or mechanical engineering is an advantage


• Good fundamentals in product or project management, preferably matured in a multinational organization


• Hands-on experience in developing and launching new products at a regional or global level


• Strong business acumen, structured and logical thinker, result oriented, capable to take and substantiate decisions


• Capability to navigate and work in regulated, global environments


• Motivation to learn new things and work independently with a high level of flexibility


• Team player with great communication skills; to succeed in a multi-cultural environment, driving initiatives and leading by example


• Fluent in English and German is a must, Chinese is an advantage


• Willing to travel up to 20% in Europe, China and USA
