Our client is a global leader in the industrial/manufacturing field and is looking to expand his finance department in the swiss HQ.
In this diverse role, while acting as a key collaborator for the Group CFO, you will be responsible for group financial accounting, controlling, consolidation, tax and compliance related topics and projects.
Your main responsibilities:
Preparation and maintenance of accounting records and financial reports in accordance with corporate guidelines, corporate time lines and generally accepted accounting principles
Managing the processes for financial forecasting, budgeting and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting, full consolidation and internal controls
Ensure statutory compliance of all holdings, liaising with external and internal auditors
Manage the company’s annual tax returns
Participate in the implementation and improvement of appropriate accounting and reporting systems for internal projects
Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
Dealing with VAT related topics as well as compliance, ICS, licensing etc.
Supervising a team in the absence of the Group CFO
Your Qualifications and Experience:
BS/MA degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or a related field
Professional qualification such as ACCA/CFA/CPA
5-7 years of Finance experience on a senior level in an international environment
Professional knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER/IFRS
Extensive experience with group reporting, consolidation
Good managerial and communication skills
Strong analytical skills and outstanding interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills
Ability to communicate in German and English both orally and in written form in a clear and concise manner
