Field Support Specialist Full-Time

Responsibilities.



  • Lead system installations in industrial settings in coordination with client facilities personnel, contractors, and Verity staff

  • Lead commissioning procedures for newly installed and updated systems

  • Respond to customer enquiries, investigate issues, help develop solutions

  • Interface with customers regarding technical system aspects (installation, operator training, maintenance)

  • Contribute to and review user support documentation for user manuals, operator guidelines, safety considerations

  • Assess technical requirements from facility site visits and client communication during the sales process

  • Interface regularly with development team to provide feature improvement feedback and issue reports based on customer and personal observations


Qualifications.



  • At least 2 years’ experience in technical project management or automated systems installation

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study (e.g. engineering, mathematics, computer science) or equivalent

  • Basic programming knowledge (e.g. Python, Matlab, etc.)

  • Excellent written and spoken English

  • Excellent team and communication skills

  • Must be able and willing to travel to customer sites around the world
