ELA Basel - The Swiss British School of Basel is a vibrant and happy international primary school
with approximately 360 pupils located in the heart of Basel, Switzerland, a cosmopolitan and
growing city on the border with France and Germany. Established in 1993, the school
celebrated its 25th Jubilee in 2018. We are respected for offering the highest quality childcare
and teaching, small class-sizes, a creative and dynamic curriculum based on the National
Curriculum of England and Wales and a wide range of extra-curricular activities and wrap-
around care.
The school is looking to appoint a qualified Key Stage 2 upper primary school teacher. She/he
must have the right to work in the Switzerland and be available to start on 20th April 2020.
The contract term will initially be on a contract until June 2021.
The successful candidate will join our team of committed professionals. If you are UK trained
and/or have at least three years experience of teaching the National Curriculum of England
and Wales in an international setting, we would be pleased to receive your application.
