We Offer

 

• You an interesting role within our International Trading Solutions Technology team where you have the chance to work independently and closely with existing knowledge holders, under the mentorship of the line manager


• You will be developing new components using Microsoft .NET C# to interface a vendor trading application to other systems within the bank. This will require you to analyse and reverse-engineer existing trading and risk interfaces to understand the requirements for the migration away from the legacy trading application.


• You will design and develop robust solutions to replace Excel spreadsheet macros.


• Help to improve and extend existing testing framework and the test coverage.


• You will work closely with the business at all levels to understand the business specifications, converting requirements into technical solutions


• Assist the Support team in investigations and escalations that are beyond their SME knowledge level


• Ownership of the legacy application until migration has been completed


• Being part of a specialized and highly motivated team in a diverse environment enable you to build up a strong network

You Offer

 

• A higher education, such as University Degree in Computer Science or similar


• Previous experience in the Finance / Insurance industries (ideally within Trading, preferably in Precious Metals or FX)


• Very Strong .NET C# skills as well as good MS SQL Server knowledge


• Requirements engineering and Business Analysis skills


• Good oral and written communication and a positive and proactive team attitude


• Strong analytic and problem solving skills


• Fluent spoken and written English
