Your mission :
The EPFL Blue Brain Project (BBP), situated on the Campus Biotech in Geneva, Switzerland, applies advanced neuroinformatics, data analytics, high-performance computing and simulation-based approaches to the challenge of understanding the structure and function of the mammalian brain in health and disease. The BBP provides the community with regular releases of data, models and tools to accelerate neuroscience discovery and clinical translation through open science and global collaboration.To help manage the delivery of cross-cutting projects on a well-defined roadmap we are currently seeking to fill the following positions: Project Manager Main duties and responsibilities include :
Coordinate and monitor projects across the organization
Prepare and convene regular stakeholder meetings and communication
Draft resource & implementation plans and timelines
Implement contingency plans and risk management
Monitor progress of projects
Pro-actively engage with contributors
Day-to-day management of projects
Management of interdependencies
Your profile :
Educational back-ground in Life Sciences or Engineering; PhD is highly preferred
Neuroscience experience or qualification
Certified Project Manager with knowledge of both Agile and Waterfalls
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Excellent English written and oral presentation skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to meet aggressive timelines in a collaborative environment
