Your responsibilities

 

• Initial point of contact to HZI in Best Cost Country (BCC) Regions (China, IPB Subcontinent, S America)


• Ongoing local liaison / contact for supplier queries


• Increasing Panel of Approved Suppliers in priority Categories
  (Boiler & Pressure Parts, Structural Steel, Plate Steel Equipment, EIC eHouse, General Pipework, ACC, Conveyors / Solids Handling, Waste Crane, Stack & EPS Generator)


• Identification of economically viable potential Suppliers in allocated BCC Region (Market research)


• Driving qualification of potential Suppliers (eRFI & Audits)


• Agree improvement plans with potential suppliers


• Nomination of qualified and economically viable Suppliers to Supplier


• Qualification Board


• Support Bidding & Onboarding actions


• Member of Category Management Council


• Ensuring achievement of relevant sourcing KPI’s


• Reports to Head of Sourcing & Category Management

Your experiences

• 5+ years experience  as Category or Sourcing manager in an international environment (preferably in BCC)


• Knowledge of Power Industry or similar categories


• Up to date with the relevant legal regulations and technical standards


• Good administrative or commercial skills from technical and international environment


• Self-motivated and capable of working within policies, regulations and rules


• Professional in English. Any additional languages of BCC as an asset


• Willing to travel up to 30%


• Very good organization, planning and problem solving skills
