Medyria is a Swiss start-up developing a catheter based system for the measurement of the blood flow velocity for use in endovascular procedures, we are looking for a R&D engineer for the following tasks:
- Further develop integration and packaging of flow velocity sensor
- Participate to the development of medical devices (catheter and guidewires) integrating the blood flow velocity sensor
- Process data and develop algorithms
- Keep updated the documentation complying with ISO 13485
- Perform bench test on sensor
- Perform bench test on catheter
- Write and execute testing and validation protocols
- Collaborate with production team to improve the production processes
The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
- High analytical mind and problem solving skills
- Able to work in team
- University level degree in scientific or engineering topics
- Experience with sensing systems, and sensors
- Experience with medical device development
- Good understanding of quality systems in particular, ISO 13485
Type of employment : 80%-100% on a long term basis
Languages: Good knowledge of english language is required, knowledge of German, Italian or French is a plus.
